How to teach classroom expectations:
First, explicitly teach the expected behaviors.
What should the students look like when they are following the expected behaviors?
Next, be consistent with your expectations.
Each student should show you the expectation each time!
Finally, practice as often as necessary.
Take time to observe what is correct and what needs improvement.
