Eyeball fun with Halloween blends and digraphs
Grab some plastic eyeballs from the dollar store and write blends and digraphs on them. Put them in a container (maybe even a plastic pumpkin) and have students pull one out at a time and read them. Also, students can practice spelling them out loud. Partners could even practice spelling, reading and using the words in sentences.
