How to Celebrate Kindness

Did you know there are 2 days each year set aside to celebrate kindness?

⭐November 13 is World Kindness Day

⭐February 12 is Random Acts of Kindness Day

I love sharing with students that there are whole days JUST to celebrate kindness!

Of course kindness can be celebrated everyday!

  1. When we are kind, endorphins in our brain produce good feelings which makes us happier.
  2. Acts of kindness heighten our sense of well-being
  3. Being kind increases our ability to form meaningful connections
  4. There are physical and mental health benefits to being kind

💖Understanding-explain what kindness means

💖Modeling-demonstrate kind behavior

💖Noticing-point out when you see kindness in others
